These terms govern your use of the VELO clips website and any services VELO clips provides ("VELO clips", "we", "us"). VELO clips is a managed short-form distribution service that matches approved long-form content from clients with independent clippers. You can reach us at [email protected].
By using this website, submitting a form, or applying as a clipper, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
02Using this website
You may browse the site and submit the forms on it for their intended purpose. You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or someone else's information
- use the forms to send spam, advertising or malicious content
- try to interfere with, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it
- copy, scrape or republish the site's content for commercial purposes without our written permission
03Information on this site
The site describes how VELO clips intends to operate. Sample briefs, tables and report layouts are illustrations and are marked as such. They are not results, and no client, clipper or account shown in them is real.
Nothing on this site is a promise of views, reach, revenue, earnings or any other outcome. We do not guarantee short-form performance.
04Pilot requests and client campaigns
Submitting a pilot request does not create a contract or commit either side to anything. It starts a conversation.
Any campaign is governed by a separate written agreement and campaign brief, agreed before work begins. That agreement sets out the approved source material, the licence you grant, brand rules, exclusions, budget, clipper caps, measurement window, review and rejection rules, fees and payment terms. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins for that campaign.
You confirm that you own or control the rights to any material you ask us to use, and that licensing it to us and to clippers for the campaign will not infringe anyone else's rights.
05Clipper applications
Applying as a clipper is free, non-exclusive and creates no obligation on either side. Applying does not guarantee acceptance, campaign work or earnings.
You confirm that the work and accounts you submit are genuinely yours, or that you accurately describe your role in them. Accepted clippers who take on a campaign do so under a separate clipper agreement and the campaign brief, which set out permitted use of source material, rights, payout rules and the measurement window.
06Intellectual property
The VELO clips name, monogram, site design and site text belong to VELO clips. You may not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you or your work without our written permission.
Client content stays the client's. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of client material to us or to clippers. Rights in a campaign are defined only by the campaign agreement and brief.
07Third-party services
The site relies on third-party services, including website hosting, a form-to-email service that delivers pilot requests to our inbox, and Microsoft Forms for clipper applications. Those services operate under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct, though we choose them with care. See the Privacy Policy for what each one receives.
VELO clips is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any social media platform.
08Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the site, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, VELO clips is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or audience, arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Liability relating to a campaign is governed by that campaign's written agreement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10Indemnity
You agree to cover any claims, losses and reasonable costs brought against VELO clips that result from your breach of these terms or from content you submit that you did not have the right to submit.
11Ending access
We may suspend or refuse access to the site or its forms for anyone who breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, continue after access ends.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where VELO clips is registered, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
